Easy Saturday

Warning: If you only have twins this post will probably annoy you. Readers should read at their own risk.

Today Isabella's Nana and GrandPaul came and got her for the morning. They took her to an orchard for the morning and to lunch. That was the plan, but since they are coming over for dinner, they ended up keeping her all day. (Score)

Now this left us with just our little M&Ms! Oh my goodness just having the twins made our day so easy! I can't tell you what a huge difference it was to only have two kids. I mean I'm trying, but unless you've been there I don't think you can get this feeling.

We went to the outlet mall and thanks to gift cards, we didn't spend a dime. And there wasn't a toddler running around wanting to touch things or try on the clothes. Just two sweet little 15 moth old babies in their stroller hanging out. Oh and no potty breaks, score again.

After the mall we hit our favorite Mexican restaurant, Casa Don Juan. If you live or visit Vegas, you must eat here. The food is awesome and cheap, my two favorite things. Lunch went very smoothly minus a 3 year old. Brett and I talked and the babies ate chips and salsa quietly while we waited for our food. Now I don't want you to think that we don't or can't go out to eat with all three of our kids because we do on a regular basis. But with only two kids, it just went better and it was quieter.

So the moral to the story is, one less kid is really a huge break! I never would have thought that it would be, but I was wrong. See I can admit when I'm wrong, just don't expect it to happen again anytime soon.

  1. Oh gosh, I soooo know what you mean. But my kids came in pairs so when the older twins are in school, just having the 3-yr old twins feels SO easy. It's amazing how much freedom you feel when you don't have all the kids to lug around with you!!
