Friday Confessions

Photobucket

I confess....
I cleaned my house today while my kids were awake. I did this because I wanted their whole nap time to myself. No cleaning, just TV and blog land. And yes it is wonderful and totally worth it.

I confess....
I got my favorite comment on my blog this week. A blogger said she appreciated my honesty. Thanks, that really made my day!

I confess....
My mom is taking Isabella for the morning tomorrow and I'm so excited to only have two kids to take care of tomorrow. It really does make a huge difference.

I confess....
This is my favorite cleaning product at the moment.

It is so beyond awesome! All you have to do is spray down your shower a couple times a week, wait a few minutes and rinse and it stays clean! No scrubbing involved!! This is a huge time saver around my house and my shower really does stay clean. If you hate cleaning the bathroom as much as I do, you'll love this product.

I confess....
I'm really looking forward to date night with Brett tonight. It's his turn to plan our date and he's surprising me with our plans. I love spending one on one time with him. It's a great way to start our weekend.

I confess....
Today is the last day for my Starbucks giveaway, and I'm really looking forward to announcing the winner. It's so exciting to win something and I'm happy to be giving something away. It's not too late you can enter here

  1. Thanks for the tip on the cleaner. I'm totally going to try that.

Enjoy having one less child to watch after. I'm so with you. Even one less lifts.

Do you have any tricks on cleaning your house when the kids are awake? I'd LOVE to hear them!

  2. I put all the kiddos in Isabella's room first thing in the morning. This is when they are entertain themselves the best. Then I got to work. While I cleaned the bathrooms, I put Isabella in front of the tv and the twins in the tub to play with tub toys. Since they can't get out they were contained. My only snag is vaccuming. My twins hate the sound of the vaccum cleaner and cried the whole time. But that happens no matter what so I just deal with it. Thankfully only the bedrooms have carpet so it only takes a few minutes.

  3. I love your confessions. I especially love the cleaning while the kids are awake, I like to use nap time for me time and do chores while the kids are around too.

  5. One child less really makes a huge difference! I'm often amazed at how much easier things seem when Shaun takes one of the kids with him to run an errand.

And I always have to clean with the kids awake because they are such light sleepers. The dryer, dishwasher, vacuum, etc. all wake them.

  7. Great confessions! My husband scrubbed our tub this weekend. I think it is now his job. You could have eaten out of that thing! I also like to clean while the little is awake. She likes to "help".

Thank you for linking up with the Explore Play and Learn blog hop. Sorry it has taken me all week to comment back. The creepy crud decided to take up residence in my head. Now that I am feeling human again I am following and commenting. We are hopping again tomorrow and all weekend long if you want to link up again! Have a great weekend!
