I wonder....
Why my girls wake up super early when Daddy needs to sleep during the day? Do you know how stressful it is to keep a 16 month old and a 3 year old quiet? And why couldn't Mark wake up too? Oh 'cause then we could have gone to the park and I wouldn't have stressed about keeping them quiet. SIGH!
I wonder....
If the wine I'm drinking seems extra good because I had a stressful day or because it feels naughty to drink alone?
I wonder....
Why was Isabella still awake last night at 11 and then woke up early at 6. (OK fine, I'm still a little annoyed about how my day started)
I wonder....
What in the world am I going to cook for dinner tomorrow night? I planned on chicken spaghetti, but I forgot to take it out of the freezer and it wont defrost by tomorrow. Any suggestions?
I wonder....
Is Mark a fussy kid because it's his nature or because he has CP? I think I'm afraid to know that he's in pain and that's why he's so fussy so I haven't asked his neurologist yet.
I wonder....
A woman asked if M&M were twins. I said no, Brett and I met in a child birth class and fell in love and are now raising our kids together after leaving our spouses. So I wonder, do you think she thought I was serious? I thought I was pretty funny as she stopped me when Isabella was trying to run away from me and M&M were melting down. This was not the time to engage me in annoying conversation.
I wonder....
Is it weird that I think of my Dad every time I have a rootbeer float? He always made us floats and my favorite is still a strawberry float, but I'll settle for a rootbeer float. If you haven't had a strawberry float, go out and buy strawberry soda and vanilla ice cream. You might be sorry, but you can blame me!
PS-His float was always in a HUGE Arizona Razorbacks mug. I'm not sure why since he didn't go there and we're from Texas. Note to self, I need to ask why we had that mug. And it fit almost a half gallon of ice cream, the thing was HUGE!

Great post!!! My daughter is always at her loudest when Daddy is trying to take a nap. So are the dogs. Things fall over and crash to the floor. It's like his napping brings out the worst in everyone!
ReplyDeleteI defrost my meat in the microwave. Or, if I have time, which I usually do not, I run it under cold tap water for a long while. Hope that helps!
You must have a lot of fun with people, when they ask stupid questions about having twins. I get that with my dogs, actually. In fact, I might make a post about it!
Strawberry floats are my FAVORITE! Yum.
I never got any weird comments, but when I only had one kid, people would stop us and comment how nice it was of big sister to take her little sister out. I took that as a compliment, but Isabel would clearly state that she had no big sister, but a old mama. Thanks a lot kiddo. Don't get that anymore, must be looking my age finally.

Found you through the Multiples and More blog link up. :D
My daughter is always loudest when my husband is trying to sleep. I don't know if she's just as loud on my morning to sleep in or I'm just better at tuning it out. And somehow even in sleep I always know which morning is mine and when I have to get up and when I can just keep sleeping.
