Friday Confessional

Go ahead and link up your confessions!

I confess....
My kids are all sick this week and I'm ready to give them away. Don't worry I'll want them back once they're better.

I confess....
Last night was my monthly LVMOMs meeting. I just love getting together with my fellow twin mommies. I look forward to this meeting all month long. It gets me out of the house and away from the kids for a night out. And Holly, next month is on you! Whoo hoo!

I confess....
I made the best deviled eggs I have ever had in my whole life for Easter. Bacon Deviled Eggs. They were so delicious that Brett liked them even though he hates deviled eggs. Mmmmm I wish I still had some. Since I make deviled eggs once a year, it will be a long time before I eat them again.

I confess....
My twins are awake two hours early from their naps and I am ignoring them. Sorry kids it's too early to get up yet. When you get cranky I'll get off the computer, until then you can talk to each other and hopefully go back to sleep.

I confess....
It's my turn to plan date night and it starts in 4 and a half hours and I have nothing planned or done. I still need to figure out what I am cooking for dinner or where I'm picking up take-out and the activity. Any suggestions that come my way in the next hour will be strongly considered.

I confess....
I ended up watching parts of the royal wedding. I wasn't planning on watching, but I got sucked in and watched this morning when the kids woke me up. I'm very happy that I wasn't crazy enough to watch at 1 am, since I fast forwarded through most of the wedding. I think she looked beautiful and I don't envy her life. Nothing sounds worse to me than living my life in the spotlight.

I confess....
Every year I torture my family on Easter Sunday and take a family portrait before we go to church using my camera's timer. This year it didn't go well and I finally threw in the towel after getting everyone to at least look a the camera.

At least Mommy and Daddy look good right?

I confess....
Molly's hair is getting long enough to have the messy look. Every night after we dry her three strands of hair she gets a natural faux-hawk. And my confession is that I refuse to brush it down since it looks so stinkin' cute!
I confess....
I'm still somewhat new to this whole blogging thing. I read a post about how frustrating it is when someone comments on your blog and they don't leave an email so you can respond. To which I said that I just respond directly from the email that was sent to me notifying me of the comment. The blogger said that she was referring to the no-reply email addresses. What? There are no reply email addresses?? I never noticed. Hmm, I wonder how many times I responded to a no reply email address? Now I'm finally paying attention to how many people have no reply email addresses and it is annoying! One person that comments all the time on my blog has a no reply email and I really want to respond to her, but I can't! UGH! (If you want to know if it's you, I'll tell you in private, I won't call you out online.)

  4. This is a good & juicy confession post! :)

I feel you on the no-reply profiles....I always want to reply too. Hate it when I can't! I really didn't know there was an option. I guess I just lucked out and chose the right one during sign up! :)

Have a great weekend Allison! Oh btw, I think the family pic is cute!

  6. It's so on me next time!! I felt so dumb last night. What was I thinking?! The problem is that I wasn't thinking. I'm so so sorry!!

But I did have a really nice time and I, too, look forward to it each month. :)

  7. I think your family portrait is gorgeous! If you take the full-sized version and crop it before you resize, it will be frame worthy for sure!

  10. I confess that I didn't watch the Royal Wedding or anything about it mostly because it simply reminds me how ordinary I am, haha. I'm kind of insecure like that I guess *blush*
