Two Little Troublemakers

I have one serious little trouble maker named Isabella. And she recruits other trouble makers to aid in her causes. There really is nothing better than knowing at any back turned given minute my kids can get into some serious trouble. Yesterday I had the nerve to think I could take a shower while my kids were awake.

Normally I turn on Diego and they watch long enough for a 5 minute shower. And it worked yesterday, I got a shower in before the kids came looking for me. Mark stayed and hung out with me while I was getting dressed. Now that's getting dressed, not getting ready which to me includes make-up and hair. After I was dressed I helped Mark walk down the hall and into the kitchen to see what the girls were up to. As I rounded the corner I saw this.

Well that's not good. Now where could the girls be hiding? Oh I know exactly where my daughter hides when she's being naughty, under the kitchen table. After looking under the table I ran for the camera so I could document this moment.

It's hard to tell what they're eating so I moved the chair.

Yep that's right my daughters are eating ice cream under the kitchen table. When I looked under the table Isabella said "we're eating ice cream with a red spoon mommy!" Just in case I missed it I guess. This was almost too funny and cute to discipline them, almost! And all this in the time it took me to brush my hair and throw on a t-shirt and capris!! Troublemakers!
PS-If they were older, this would be called shame eating.

  1. This is why it's understood why a home with toddlers will never be immaculate. Your daughter is so beautiful though.

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. Ha! Little girls are such devils! I have two and they are so mischevious, but I love them very much. Mine like to get into my makeup. I should know better than to leave it within reach, right. Somehow they know my hiding places!

  4. Don't all of us girls just want to hide with a half gallon of ice cream sometimes? I love it!

I'm fairly new at all this and was wondering if you could tell me how you get followers? Obviously you have earned them. I love your posts. I feel like I'm reading a day in the life of me!

  6. Oh my word.....SO cute! I once caught my two year old in the fridge with an entire STACK of bologna in her hand that she had bitten all the way through! When I said her name, she got so scared that she ran, crying and spitting bologna chunks on the floor while she ran! I laughed so hard that I thought I'D spit chunks!

  7. Bless their little cotton socks! I wish I'd catch my boys doing something as 'innocent' as this, they seem hell bent on driving me mad! Love 'em to pieces but my goodness they are cheeky monkeys!

Think I might go hide under the table with some ice cream.

  11. That is too funny. I never get a shower at our house either, every time I try my 4 and 2 year old destroy something and when my husband comes home his response is always 'why weren't you watching' them!

  15. Wow!! This almost makes me miss those mischievous moments when my kids were that age. I have a pic of the time my 2-year-old dumped a whole box of Cheerios on the floor and was just sitting in the middle, eating handfuls off the floor. Good times!

Stumbled you...would love if you could stumble me back:http://www.keenlykristin.com/2011/05/bin-ladens-death-your-reaction.html

  17. That's hilarious! My daughter loves taking everything out of the fridge and telling me what each item is and putting it back. She hasn't figured out how to open the fridge or freezer yet, she only takes items out when I already have the door open.
