My Comfort Cross Review and Giveaway-2 Winners!

I was given a Comfort Cross to review and giveaway. I had seen the crosses on other bloggers' websites and tried (unsuccessfully) to win one for myself. I was excited to find out for myself why the crosses are so popular.

Product Overview
Comfort Crosses are individually carved from a single unique piece of beautifully grained olive wood pruned from the olive trees around Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus. Christians have been carving crosses like this for hundreds of years, originally for pilgrims and more recently tourists visiting the Holy Land. Each craftsman receives a fair price to support their family and Christian community. The Comfort Cross is designed to fit comfortably into the palm of your hand as an aid to prayer or meditation. Ideal as your spiritual companion for easing children's fears, comforting worries and stresses of adults and focusing the prayer of the sick and elderly. Each cross that is sold supports families in Bethlehem.

My Opinion
I was very impressed with the cross. The cross came in a nice maroon velveteen bag with a gift card. It is very smooth and somehow it seems soft even though it's made from wood. I like that it's small and that it fits in your hand. Since it's so small, you could easily fit it in your purse or briefcase.

I think the cross is a great tool to help you focus your mind during prayer or Bible study. My daughter likes to hold it while we have family Bible time and I thought it would distract her since she's only 3, but it actually helps her pay attention.

Buy It

You can purchase the Comfort Cross through their website. They are very affordable and would make a great gift. They have provided a special for my readers so they can purchase 2 crosses with cards and bag and postage within the US for $12, a $2 discount. To take advantage of this offer, click here

They also have a web site for ordering crosses – individual $6, pair $11 or in packs of ten for $40. Comfort Crosses can be used for fundraising and giveaways at just $3 each, see the website for all the details.

Win It

Two lucky readers will win a comfort cross complete with gift and informational card and velveteen gift bag.

Monks taught the local Christians following the creation of the Church of Nativity built on the site of the birth of Jesus Christ. The process was passed down from generation to generation.
