Friday Confessional w/ lots of Pictures

Photobucket

I confess....
Yesterday I was DONE with my girls by 8:30am. They woke up super early and were fighting non-stop over everything. On a side note Mark slept 'til 9, right through the noise. I needed to get out of the house so I didn't lose my mind. We went to McDonald's for lunch since they have an indoor playground.

I confess....
Yes, I brought my pizza cutter to McDonald's so cutting up their cheeseburgers was faster. And I wonder if you think that makes me weird or a genius.

I confess....
I love that my kids are old enough to play without Mommy right by their side. I sat in the booth drinking a Diet Coke while my kids played. It was awesome!!

I confess....
Isabella drank more Diet Coke than I did. She kept swiping it when I wasn't looking.

I confess....
I let Mark and Molly try it too and they were not fans!

I confess....
This picture is not surprising to me at all. (Or anyone that knows my kids well)

Yep, Isabella buckled herself into a highchair while she was playing. I mean why play on the slide when you can play in a highchair??

I confess...
This is the first time Brett ever saw something so cute that he yelled for me to take a picture. He was turning on Diego and they lined themselves up!

I confess....
No alcohol was involved in this story. I found this when I went into my room Wednesday night.

Brett and I were cracking up for longer than this was funny for normal people. But it looks like the hippo is walking out of the closet. Molly set this up for me, thanks for the laugh sweetheart!

I confess....
Isabella's two prized stuffed animals are in a timeout (more on that tomorrow) and she doesn't get any "friends" to sleep with until they get out of timeout. So yesterday she climbed into her crib in the morning and played. I just love this kid. She cracks me up!

I just love that she lined her crib with friends!

I confess....
I watch The View and I love it. On Thursday, they were talking about the stupid restaurant owner that banned kids under six. (My thoughts on it are here) And Joy Behar had the best quote of the year! "There seems to be a war against children going on, except when they're in utero and then everybody seems to care."

  4. I just love this post! You are a genius with the pizza cutter. (I usually use kitchen scissors, which work just as well, and people look at me funny. Whatever. It's faster than a knife and fork.) I also LOVE that quote from the View. I don't ever watch the program, but that line was right on!

  10. Did she crawl into the highchair by herself too?! Mine only wants to crawl out of the highchair and never wants to be confined. Just getting her into a shopping cart is a battle of wills and negotiation.

  11. I LOVE that you took your pizza cutter to McDonalds! That is so something I would do if I would think of it! The pizza cutter is my best friend when it comes to my kids' food. Everything can be cut with it & I love the picture of the kids all lined up - so cute! It's so sad when they grow up!
