Friday Confessional

Photobucket

I confess....
My kids are watching Sesame Street right now so I can write this post.

I confess....
I normally blog during their naptime, but there is just too much to get done today during naptime for that to be possible.

I confess....
Molly got another molar and she was as pitiful as a child can get. I feel so bad for her pain but couldn't resist taking this picture. By the way, she tucked herself in.

Cutest thing she's done in a long time.

I confess....
I'm on my third cup of coffee this morning. I've had a migraine since Wednesday and I'm too stubborn to take medicine for it. So I'm doing the stubborn natural method and drinking lots of caffeine. It takes the edge off, but doesn't make it go away. Hopefully I'll wake up tomorrow feeling better.

I confess....
My daughters are wearing their Angels ski hats and I'm not stopping them. We're inside so they'll be fine. I pick my battles, and wearing ski hats when it's 104 degrees outside is not a battle I'm going to pick.

I confess....
I feel just a little guilty when I asked who wants a snack in the morning and my kids run to the kitchen mat and sit down. In the afternoon, they run for their chairs. Yes I feed them their morning snack on the floor and never the afternoon snack. I cannot explain how this happened but it did. And my little monkeys are well trained.

I confess....
I torture my daughter by trying to make her look like a girl. I just love this look on her. I think she looks like a hoo! (as in Dr.Seuss) Even though she wiggles and squirms while I put her 4 strands of hair in piggy tails, it's worth it. No one tells me what cute twin boys I have with this hair style.

I confess....
I love that my twins are starting to really interact with each other. They "talk" to each other at the dinner table and trade food. They chase each other and wrestle. And they have these conversations where they are talking, but I have no idea what is being said.

I confess....
I keep trying to get these twin moments on video and they stop every.single.time!!!

I confess....
When we were at the drive in movie on Tuesday there was a little girl there that was having a meltdown. I ignored it since I'm oh so used to this happening to me and I hate it when people stare. But then Isabella looked at me and said "she needs to obey her mother!" I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. I'm sure the mom was less than impressed but that was too funny to hold in my laughter.

  3. Aww! Molly looks so cute in those pigtails!

Dawson has also been an absolute bear about his teething recently. I hope it ends for both of our kiddies soon.
