Friday Confessional

Photobucket

I confess....
I told Brett to man up yesterday.

I confess....
He'll be pissed that I told you all that.

I confess....
I had a good reason to say it, I swear!

I confess...
He was getting a little teary eyed over Isabella starting preschool. While a little sweet, let's not be too dramatic! She's going to preschool not prom. You're not losing your little girl just yet.

I confess....
I'm pretty sure most of my readers will think I'm mean. But I'm so excited for her to start school. I know how much fun she's going to have and how many new friends she'll make.

I confess....
Last night was my mothers of multiples pool party with tons of food and adult beverages meeting. I had a great time like I always do. I just love the connection I have with these women!

I confess....
When I got home, I found out that Mark had been throwing up all night. My kids love to get sick, wet the bed, or have a nightmare on the night of my meeting.

I confess....
I find it very annoying!

I confess....
I was really happy that I wasn't home to clean up puke.

I confess....
But I felt a little guilty that I wasn't there to comfort my little guy.

I confess....
I don't know why Disney makes their movies dark and scary at some time in the movie. Have you seen Toy Story 3? The landfill scene (even though they get saved) where they all hold hands and face death is very disturbing.

I confess....
My kids are watching that scene right now!

So what will you confess today????

  1. #1 - Totally agree with you on the Disney movies! Ace's favorite movie is "The Princess and The Frog." Have you seen that creepy shadow man character??

#2 - I love our MOMs meetings too and I really enjoyed our conversation in the pool. It's a good group and I hope we all keep it going for a long time.

  2. Oh man, the Disney movies we grew up with were SOOO dark. Remember The Fox and the Hound? How they were best friends but weren't allowed to be. Terrible ending. Or BAMBI? Freaking Mom, bam, dead. Then there was The Rescuers, with the girl having to go into the mine by herself. TERRIFYING! I feel like the movies today are way less scary, but more sexual, which is just as creepy.
