What I Love About Me-Blog Hop

What I Love About Me! Blog Hop - Week 6
"The wise know the value of friendship, and that it is wisdom to be a friend to oneself too." -A.C. Grayling

Welcome to Week 6 of "What I Love About Me!" hosted by Twins Plus One, Three Times the Fun and Twingle Mommy!

Here's how it works -
Write a post about what you love about yourself this week and then add it to the linky list below. This is intended to be a time and place for each of us to stop criticizing ourselves for a few minutes and actually remind ourselves of the characteristics we are proud to own. So go ahead, look in the mirror, and see yourself through your loved one's eyes. Notice the beauty first. Here's your place to shine!

A few simple guidelines -
  • Please follow the two hostesses. If you are a new follower, please comment so we can follow you too! :)
  • We'd love it if you posted the button and the linky list, but it is not mandatory. The button code is on my left sidebar.
  • Feel free to link to your homepage or your specific "What I Love About Me!" post. We want this to be a fun, relaxing hop so we'll accept all links as long as they are family-friendly. Thanks!
  • The linky will be open all week so feel free to link-up on your own time!

Normally, I go for the inside and today I'm going with the outside. Like most moms, I mourn for my pre-baby body. While I might be back to my pre-baby weight, things have well shifted. But there is a part of me that I'm still happy with these days. Two actually.

Brett's camera has lots of pictures like this one. Notice that I'm looking away? At this moment, I'm telling Isabella to sit down and eat her food. Brett really thought he'd help out the situation by taking a picture of my chest. But the bright side is that he is still interested in them. Something I hope will never change even when the girls have lost their battle with gravity.

I have to say that years of sleeping in a bra has kept the girls looking pretty good. And this is after babies and nursing! So there it is something vain that I love about myself.

What are you loving about yourself this week?

  1. Good for you! I actually like mine better after pregnancy (they were a tad too small before). ;)

  2. You look great and kudos for you for posting a pic like this!

I'm at my pre-baby weight too and things have shifted for me as well. I didn't luck out with a larger pair after pregnancy but am considering getting "help" once I'm done having kids/breastfeeding.

  3. Now following your wonderful blog from the Alexa hop! Would love if you stop by and say hi!

  4. I stopped by your blog today.

  5. YA...that is amazing! I love that your hubby takes pics like that....LOL! Sleeping in a bra...really?? Wow, that is dedication. LOL (It does explain a thing or two regarding my "girlz")

  6. Great post.... certainly wish mine looked like that lol x
