Do All Twins Do This??????

In the last 8 months or so, my twins have started exhibiting twin behavior. Although I have nothing to back that statement up with. And it got me wondering, do all twins do this???

  • Mark and Molly share their food. Mark will slide his plate over to Molly and she will give him some of her food. This is pretty one sided since Mark eats faster than a speeding bullet.
  • Mark and Molly can hit each other, but no one else can. If Isabella hits one of them, the other twin will rush to his/her defense and hit Isabella.
  • If a twin is crying, they rush over to comfort him/her. If Isabella cries, they just look at her.
  • They wrestle with each other which is about the cutest thing they do. Picture two 1 year olds rolling around laughing their diaper butts off in the process. And they stop every time I get the video camera out.
I know alot of my readers have twins and I'm wondering if your twins do the same kids of things.

  1. Yep. My twins do the same kinds of things all the time. I'm always having to remind them that if they're going to get snacks out of the pantry, then they have to get something for Dawson too.

  3. My boys do this too, so cute! It's great how they just know how to share things and comfort each other. The wrestling is the best, so funny.

  4. It is the best thing to witness between your kids...I love seeing my twins share the same acts of kindness. It makes my heart very full! Very sweet picture!

  5. Do you have a hidden camera in my house? At daycare, they will smack each other but if another kid gets near them, the other one steps up. Its the strangest, cutest thing Ive seen.

Do yours talk to each other? Im sure they do. When one of mine gets upset (Usually Cole becaue hes not talking as much as Elyse does) Ill say "Elyse go tel him its ok" she walkes wraps her around him, says something and then hes laughing. No idea what she tells him, or what he does to her when shes pissy, but they make each other laugh all the time. I lvoe it.

  7. My twins do the food thing. They can steal from each other but nobody else can. They are very defensive of each other.

My husband went to bite a tootsie pop to make it easier for Kassadi to chew (like her brothers were doing) and Gavin thought he was eating it. ... Oh my! If looks could kill!! Gavin ran from across the room to tell him exactly whose sucker that was!

I love that picture of them in the car.

  10. Twins are known for not wanting to be separated. My twin sister would mysteriously end up in my crib with me come morning time. Needless to say, My parents had to stage a stake out to figure out how she was doing it. She was found climbing out of her crib and over a dresser in between our cribs and then in to my crib...my parents promptly moved the dresser the next day!
