Friday Confessionl 8/12

Photobucket

I confess....
Last week was super fast, and this week was super slow. I liked last week better.

I confess....
I find it annoying that Molly can get into things (baby chair, shopping cart etc.) but cannot get out. I have to rescue her a few times a day.

I confess....
Last night we made a new budget for Brett new job and developed a plan to pay off the business debt. It feels good to have a plan and scary to see the numbers. You're reading this from a person that almost fainted when Brett and I got married and I found out he had $3,000 in credit card debt.

I confess....
When I hear people say that they have $50,000 in credit card debt I wonder how they don't pass out. It would make me that nervous.

I confess....
The most romantic thing Brett has done for me is build a patio cover for the house. Our backyard gets sun all day and the kitchen, family room, and our bedroom is a good 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Now we have shade for the house and for the kids to play.

I confess....
The shade for the kids to play is the real winner here. The lower temperature in the house is just icing on the cake.

I confess....
While the kids were playing outside Mark took a tumble. He never cried so we discovered it when he came inside.

I made the sad face since he wouldn't. The picture doesn't do it justice, we tried for a profile shot but 1 year old boys are uncooperative. This is his first big boo-boo. The fact that this is his first big boo-boo is shocking to me.

I confess....
There might have been a mommy monster moment when I found this.

That would be my recipe box spilled all over the floor. It was on the island in the kitchen and I guess Molly thought it would be fun to spill it. But I would rather pick up all my recipes than this every again!

In this picture you can see my three kids playing in a 5 pound bag of sugar and a 2 pound bag of brown sugar. Both brand new. I feel better about the fact that they did this on Brett's watch.

I confess....
I'm trying to decide if I want to take the kids to the children's museum this morning. I have a pass so we stay until they crap out. Right now it sounds like fun we'll see once I have all the kids up and dressed. (Yep it's 8am and my little Mark is still sleeping. And he went to bed at 7pm, he could really teach his sisters something.)

I confess....
Did you watch Falling Skies on TNT? If you missed it, you ave until next summer to catch up with the first season. I hate it when shows do that!!! You're really going to make me wait a year to see what happens next?

I confess....
I cleaned the whole house yesterday. I normally clean on Friday, but I was a little stressed out yesterday and I ended up cleaning the whole house. (I'm a stress cleaner) And I'm annoyed that Brett didn't notice. And I'll bet you a million monopoly dollars that he comes home today and tells me that the house looks great since he knows to look on Friday. And that annoys me even more.

Tune in next week to see if he noticed.

What are you confessing?????

  4. I am a stress cleaner too! Wow, what a sugary mess. I'd definitely feel better if that was on my husband's watch too. Man, your kids are making me tired just looking at pictures and hearing about their antics. But they sure are cute! :-)

  5. That's awesome you have a covered patio now! My daughter can't play outside at all right now because it's just too hot and not enough shade. Yay on getting your debt payoff in order - it's such a freeing feeling to know you're on the right track!
