What I Love About Me-Blog Hop

"The wise know the value of friendship, and that it is wisdom to be a friend to oneself too." -A.C. Grayling

Welcome to Week 11 of "What I Love About Me!" hosted by Twins Plus One, Three Times the Fun and Twingle Mommy!

Here's how it works -
Write a post about what you love about yourself this week and then add it to the linky list below. This is intended to be a time and place for each of us to stop criticizing ourselves for a few minutes and actually remind ourselves of the characteristics we are proud to own. So go ahead, look in the mirror, and see yourself through your loved one's eyes. Notice the beauty first. Here's your place to shine!

A few simple guidelines -
  • Please follow the two hostesses. If you are a new follower, please comment so we can follow you too! :)
  • We'd love it if you posted the button and the linky list, but it is not mandatory.
  • Feel free to link to your homepage or your specific "What I Love About Me!" post. We want this to be a fun, relaxing hop so we'll accept all links as long as they are family-friendly. Thanks!
  • The linky will be open all week so feel free to link-up on your own time!

I love that I'm not sick anymore and that no one else in my house is sick either. Now that might not sound like a big thing to some of you, but after the longest week of my life it's the greatest thing ever! I have to say that I have the best partner in the world in Brett. He helped me so much this week with the kids, including going to the ER with me even though he has to be up for work at 4am. And taking care of the kids while I spent 2 days in bed. One part about being a SAHM that stinks is that on Wednesday morning I alternated throwing up with turning on a new cartoon. Thankfully Brett gets off at 1 so I only had to get to naptime. My kids didn't get the best care that day, but they're alive so all is well.

I thought I would share some pictures of our sad little visit to the ER and our time sick this week.

We're washing the spiders out!

Thank goodness for toys left in the diaper bag since I didn't think to bring any.

This would be me forcing fluids down Molly's throat.
She was less than impressed. Two days later I will feel very guilty about doing this to her.

So what do you love about yourself this week?
