Cold weather is here to stay for a few months. And that colder weather brings drier skin. I am faced with a double threat this winter; living in the desert and changing two kids’ diapers all day long. These two factors give me very dry hands. As part of Carmex’s Blog Squad, I received a Carmex Skin Care Pack.
About Carmex Skin Care Line
For almost 75 years, Carmex has healed your dry chapped lips with their lip balm. Now they have created a line to moisturize your skin. SRP of the full sized bottles is $5.99 and the small bottles SRP is $.99. The Carmex Skin Care line is available at CVS, Walgreens, and Wal-Mart. Their line is available in a tube or a pump.

I tried the healing lotion and what I noticed right away was the smell. The lotion smells like their lip balm. The smell isn’t too strong, just enough to have a little scent. After rubbing it in, I noticed that there is no greasy feel to it. Even the Healing Cream which is surprising since most creams have some greasy feel to them. Also, the lotion rubs in really fast! I put a little in my hand to lotion my hands and I had to get more since the palm of my hands used up all the lotion. (See my hands really are dry!)
My husband has horribly dry elbows and feet. I turned over the Healing Cream bottle to him so he could try to soften his elbows and feet. He liked it because “it goes on thick and my skin absorbs it well.” I will say that his elbows are still dry but that is mostly because he only puts on lotion when I’m there to remind him.
You can purchase Carmex Healing Lotion and Carmex Healing Cream at CVS, Walgreens, and Wal-Mart.
One lucky reader will win the same Carmex Skin Care Pack that I received. This contest is open to US residents over the age of 18.
