Friday Confessional 12/2/11

Photobucket
I confess....
I don't want to be a mom today. I'm tired and crampy and I'd really like to stay in bed since the weather is crummy today.

I confess....
It's days like today that I get really annoyed when celebrities say they are normal parents just like us regular folks. I don't have a full time nanny, chef, personal trainer, or personal assistant do you? If I were a celebrity I could be in bed right now because there would be someone to step in and take my place.

I confess....
I take my twins to the park on Tuesdays and Thursdays since I have one last twin to take care of. With everything going on at the park this is what my kids did for a long time last Tuesday.

Yep they were just standing in the planter laughing at each other.

I confess....
Brett is part Griswold and loves putting up Christmas lights. He made a big production of turning them on this year. Sadly my camera stinks at taking night pictures and they didn't come out very well.
The kids are counting down to turning on the lights.

The right half of the house. The left side is blurry and no good.

I confess....
It was the cutest thing seeing the looks on their faces when he turned on the lights. They showed their excitement by running around the driveway and screaming for 10 minutes.

I confess....
I wonder what my neighbors think of my policy of "you can only scream outside?" Whenever the kids mainly Isabella starts screaming (you know the I'm having fun scream that makes parents nuts?) I send her outside to scream.

I confess....
Screaming isn't much of a problem after I made her go outside and scream. She needs an outlet for screaming and I gave her one. Problem for me-solved. Problem for my neighbors-created.

I confess....
I don't care. Kids play outside and they're loud, deal with it. It's not like it's an everyday thing or a 7am thing.

I confess....
I think toys without volume control should be banned. And we should hunt down the person responsible for not putting volume control on the toys and make them listen to them for hours on end. Multiple toys going at a time!!!! That will teach them!

What are you confessing?????

  1. I personally think they should make changing the batteries easier. One of the toys we had when Turbo was little sounded possessed when the batteries started to go. It was really creepy. And it didn't have an off switch. Toys without off switches should be outlawed.

  2. Wow, your lights look awesome. Does Brett want to come over and do ours too??
