Mark's Progress-Update

I don't think the worst thing that could happen to me is having a child with special needs. I think the worst thing would be to raise a child who is cruel to people with special needs." ~ Matthew Mickelson Butman

Mark had PT today and the progress is good and bad. The good news is that he is making great progress and that she thinks he is right where he should be for a two year old with CP. The bad news is that the way he runs cannot be fixed until he is three and his hip is fully formed.

So that's a little frustrating that we cannot work on the running yet. And yes I am grateful that he can run-so don't go there. They way he runs uses more energy and he can't do go very far. So when we are out at the park or on walks he gets very tired and needs to be carried after a little while. I really wish we could start working on specific exercises to help him. But I understand that this is not about me and I need to be patient.

No easy task for me.

If there is one thing I get VERY Upset with is if my children were to bully and be cruel to another child. "God makes all kinds" is what my Grandma says.
