5 Moments That I'd Like to Live Over and Over Again

I'm linking up with Moments that Define Life today for the five moments that I would like to live over again.

1. The night Brett proposed. I was not expecting it and we had never talked about marriage before. I was getting a little impatient for him to ask or bring it up so it was a great surprise.

2. The day we found out we were pregnant with Isabella and Mark and Molly. I know that technically this counts as two days, but it was thrilling! After years of infertility and multiple miscarriages/ectopic pregnancies it was so wonderful to hear that we were pregnant.

3. The day I had Isabella. I had such an easy delivery and the epidural did wonders on my mood halfway through my labor. But when my doctor handed me that little girl covered in blood and other substances that it's best not to write about-it was love at first sight.

4. The day Mark walked for the first time. I know that most moms fear the day their last kid walks since it's the day you no longer have a baby. But when your son has Cerebral Palsy trust me it's the greatest day of your life. I will never forget that day and I'm so happy that Brett was home to witness his first steps with me.

We went to lunch to celebrate.

5. The day that Mark came home from the hospital. After 50 long days in the NICU we finally had all our kiddos at home with us. It was a great feeling having all my kiddos at home. Though I did miss having a NICU nurse take the 1 and 5am night time feedings after a few days.

  1. What wonderful memories you have of these moments!!! I love it!!

  2. Those are SUCH GREAT moments to want to live over and over...

    Smile on my face tonight...thanks!

  3. The moments to hold close and always cherish :)

  4. What lovely moments! You have twins too! :-) Life in the NICU is challenging. We spent 11 weeks there with our girls, it is not for the faint of heart. Thanks for sharing your list and linking up!
