Date Night With not so Bored Games

Brett and I have a weekly date night on Friday night. And since we are on a limited budget we stay home on date night. So we have to be creative in regards to what we can do at home besides watching a movie. Watching a movie week after week would get a little boring and predictable. We've come up with some creative ideas like having a beer tasting and listening to Dave Ramsey to stay pumped about our budgeting.

Thankfully we are easily entertained and we enjoy doing little things like playing board games. But we don't want to play the same games week after week since that would be just as boring as watching movies all the time. Plus, sometimes you just need to spice things up a little.

One week I got a little creative and I turned our Monopoly game into a X rated version of the game. It took me a long time to make the game and to think up all the spots you can land on. And I decided that all the work I put into it wasn't really worth the effort.

So I'm thinking we need to enlist EdenFantasys to get some board games that aren't so boring and that I don't have to create myself.

  1. What a good idea to make a date night at home. Then you don't have to pay a babysitter. We don't go out very often, but doing something at home after the kids go to be would be nice.
