I'm a Coppertone Water MOM!!!

My family lives in Las Vegas where the burn index is 10 minutes during the summer months. Putting on sunscreen is part of our everyday routine in the morning. I keep a bottle in the bathroom so I can apply it after I brush their teeth and hair. (I also have a bottle by the back door and in my diaper bag.)

With that much sunscreen getting used, you can imagine how excited I was when I was picked to be a Coppertone Water MOM. As luck would have it, my welcome kit came in the mail on the second day of record breaking heat. We were very sick of being in the warm house so I decided to lather the kids in the new Delicate Foaming Water Babies Sunscreen.

Now I mentioned that we put on sunscreen everyday, but my kids still squirm and act like they've never had sunscreen put on them. The Delicate Foaming Water Babies Sunscreen went on quick which is a huge plus in my book. It's still a thick formula, but it goes on fast. And since mine is SPF 75, I know my kids were protected against our sun and 99 degree heat on our unusually record heat April day.

We headed to the park to play in the water features and on the playground. And somehow my kids sensed that I was attempting to take pictures for my blog post so they refused to look at the camera and turned their backs on me right as I was going to take a picture. Kids can be little stinkers sometimes huh?

Hi Mommy! I'm the good one, I looked at the camera!

I wish this picture surprised me, but drinking like a puppy off the ground is not at all surprising.

We had fun splashing around the park and it cooled us down a little. And it's official that I'm not ready to start my 18th summer living in Las Vegas. But ready or not, here come the 100+ degree days. I will be hosting a Coopertone giveaway soon!

  1. Looks like fun! It's good to know that the sunscreen goes on easily. I'm with you I have enough to deal with I'm not fighting over sunscreen!
