I confess....
I've been hit by the migraine train for the last two days. I finally broke down and took medication today and it's not doing much to help me.
I confess....
I'm leaving tomorrow for a mothers of multiples convention. I'm very excited and I'm really looking forward to a weekend away.
I confess....
I've been asked three times this week who is going to help Brett with the kids. I smiled and said no one, but I wanted to smack them. Why in 2012 do we still assume that a father is incapable of taking care of his kids alone?
I confess....
I didn't write any confessions last week because I didn't feel like it.
I confess....
Last Friday Molly got her first haircut. I'm very proud of her since she beat Isabella by 2 years!
She did great and I am very happy that she didn't cry and that she no longer sports a mullet.
I confess....
After the haircut I surprised Brett with a night out without the kiddos. Nana and GrandPaul watched them over night and we had a nice night out on the town using my birthday Groupon. I love that my brother knows we well enough to know that a Groupon to my favorite Mexican restaurant was the perfect gift.
I confess....
For those of you keeping track, yes my birthday is in December. But my timing was good since we couldn't afford a night out with Brett out of work. So it was good for me to put off using it until 5 days before it expired.
I confess....
I got a turkey at Thanksgiving since they are dirt cheap then. I threw it into my garage freezer and kinda forgot about it. I made it last Thursday and it was AWESOME! I did miss having all the sides but the leftover turkey sandwiches were the best!
I confess....
I really want some ice cream right now. Do you think Cold Stone will somehow instinctively know about my craving and bring me some?
I confess....
I'd really like it if you would vote for me in the Circle of Moms top multiples blogger. The button is on the top right of my blog. THANKS!

This was her reaction when I told her that she was getting her haircut next.
She's waving hi to Daddy
Look at me!
I got my haircut and I look so grown up.

Great confessions! If Cold Stone brings you some ice cream..... can you send them my way? :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great time at the convention! It's always nice to get away for a bit. I agree -why do people think that a daddy cannot take care of his children?! Just crazy!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time. Your little girl is darling. Love the sweet haircut and look! Rita Spratlen rjspratlen@gmail.com
