Outdoor Confessions

I confess....
My family loves being outside. We should really live somewhere like Southern California so we can enjoy the weather more.

I confess....
That being said, I'll take a pass on Southern California's cost of living and traffic.

I confess....
Last weekend Vegas had the BEST weather I've ever experienced on Memorial Day weekend in the 18 years (yikes) that I've lived here.

I confess....
We celebrated the weekend by spending the whole weekend outside unless we were sleeping, eating, or at chuch.

I confess....
Do you know how much fun sidewalk chalk is? My kids and I do!

Molly found a "spotting scope" in the neighbors yard.

I confess....
Yesterday Isabella woke up before 6am (so not cool) and was throwing up by 6am. After getting sick 8 times she took a 30 minute nap and then woke up fine. She was running around all afternoon and had a great time. Why can't I have that much energy when I'm sick or recover that quickly?

I confess....
I love Pinterest! I may have an addiction. But this project from Pinterest makes the addiction well worth it! My kids loved it! Science and art in one little bag! This project is on my pinboard if you want to do it.

I confess....
My kids fall all the time. They are always covered in bruises and bumps. On Wednesday Isabella fell in her room and got a bloody nose. I couldn't resist taking this picture of her.

I confess....
Today I found Isabella climbing the fridge like a rock wall. She was almost to the top when I saw her. I asked her what she was doing (and sorry I was more concerned for her safety to take a picture, bad blogger I know) and she said "you locked the door mommy, so I'm opening it."

Now I know that all the times that I swore up and down that I locked the fridge, at least once I did, Isabella just unlocked it. I cannot decide if I'm impressed by her problem solving skills or ticked off. I'm really leaning towards being impressed.

What are you confessing this week?

  1. Wow, what a week! My kids are covered in bumps and bruises too. Add a little, well actually a lot of dirt to that (I try to keep them clean). I also found my child climbing the refrigerator this week, too. Interesting . . .
I’m impressed with her problem solving ability :)

    1. I'm glad my kids aren't the only ones that get into so much mischief. And my kids are always covered in dirt, I clean them at the end of the day. There really isn't any point in cleaning them during the day since they just get dirty again.

  2. Your kids are so cute. They just make me smile. I love how Isabella was going to fix that locked door issue. =)

Just as an FYI the linkys Mamarazzi's Friday Confessional and Happy List are on my blog this week and next while she takes a little bloggy break. I hope you'll come play along.
