Movie Confessions

Photobucket

I confess....
I took my twins to their first theater movie on the 4th. I was a little nervous since they're only two.

I confess....

I'm one smart, prepared mommy. I brought Tupperware containers so everyone could have their own container of popcorn.

I confess....
I laughed when I saw the other moms there with extra drink holders to put their kids popcorn in.

I confess....
Because using those drink holders is how I learned the hard way to bring Tupperware.

I confess....
They did great and they loved the movie. We saw Happy Feet Two as part of Regals $1 summer movie and since the twins are two years old, they were free. Yep the five of us went to the movies for $3.

I confess....
Its days like Wednesday that solidify my decision to only have three kids. I like that we are able to do more things as a family.

I confess....
I banned TV this week for my kids. With almost two weeks of illness, they watched way too much TV. And their behavior is horrible when they watch too much TV.

I confess....
It was really hard the first day. Easier on the next 3, but day 5 sucked. But now the habit is broken and my son doesn't hand me the remote first thing in the morning and ask for Monsters Inc.

I confess....
My kids ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches this week off of hamburger buns.......twice. I would like to say that I was being frugal and using up the hamburger buns before they went bad, BUT it's because I forgot to add bread to my grocery list. The fact that the hamburger buns didn't get wasted is just a bonus.

I confess....
I think I have a coffee addiction, but I'm not interested in treatment. And my coffee is never black; it's more like a khaki color. It's sweet and tastes nothing like real coffee and I love it.

I confess....
Today Molly drank 1/2 of my white chocolate mocha frappacino and I was beyond pissed off at her. I felt like mom of the year when I didn't yell and calmly disciplined her. But I was yelling and throwing a tantrum on the inside.

I confess...
It's mostly my fault since I know better than to leave my coffee behind. My kids always steal my coffee. I think it's due to the khaki nature of my coffee.

I confess....
I need to mop my floor. But I really have no intention of actually doing it. I'm feeling far too lazy to mop the floor.

What are you confessing this week?

  2. I was off all last week, and we ended up staying at home. Staycation. I did everything I could think of, instead of cleaning house. Not my favorite thing.

  3. I was totally wondering if it was too early to take mine to the movies. The dollar kids movie is perfect! The Tupperware is kinda genius!

International Delight makes an iced coffee that is basically coffee flavored creamer, and I love it!

  4. I love this post! Mostly because my coffee is always khaki color, I've had peanut butter and jelly on hamburger buns and every time we went to the movies when i was little, we ate popcorn out of drink holders! Thanks for the laugh, hope you have a great weekend!

  5. We took our kids to the $1.00 movie on the 4th too! And I always bring bowls because well as you clearly know it's too difficult to share 1 bag of popcorn with 4 people! We found it funny that we spent $4.00 for the movie and $16.00 for popcorn and 2 drinks . . . pretty crazy!

Way to go you for keeping yourself together after missing out on 1/2 of your Frappuccino. I'm pretty sure I would have gone off like a Wal Mart Mommy if my kids did that. Frappuccions are Mommy's treat and no one messes with 'em around here . . . we'll see just how go when Baby M gets older.
