Cupcakes and Clothing Confessions

Photobucket
I confess....
My kids are eating cupcakes the size of grapefruit right now. Yep, it's not even noon yet.

I confess....
I'm going to take a picture of Isabella's face when she's done since she thinks her face is a great place to store frosting for later.
This smart mom stripped them down since I've learned a few lessons along the way.

I confess....
Mark is storing his frosting for later on his chest. Man is he going to be disappointed when I clean him up.

I confess....
Last night was Brett's and my 10 year anniversary of our first date. We haven't celebrated that anniversary in 8 years since we now celebrate our wedding anniversary. But I decided that 10 years was worth celebrating.

I confess....
Going out on a Thursday felt like playing hooky, and we had a great time. Gotta love getting to go to a sushi place for happy hour! $3.50 for the BEST spicy tuna roll I've ever had, why thank you!

I confess....
Last week I wrote that the kids were napping great and that they would punish me for saying that. They are, and I may go crazy without my break and with the level of tantrums and whining that occur from 5 to bedtime.

I confess....
I am very blessed to have friends and sisters who give me hand me down clothes. You have no idea how much money it saves me and how excited my girls are to go through the bags. This last month I noticed that all 3 kids needed to go up a size but I put it off since I knew what a huge project it was going to be.

I confess....
When I found a huge bag of clothes on my doorstop on Sunday I knew it needed to be done. I decided to bring down the Winter stuff too since it's August and there is no point in doing all this work again in 3 months.

I confess....
15 loads of laundry later, everything is put away, the too small clothes have been delivered to a friend for her kids, and the stuff from Isabella that will go to Molly is organized in bins. It was a huge project and the reason I didn't blog on Monday and Tuesday.

I confess....
I took this video of my kids doing circle time together. The end of the video is my favorite Isabella moment of the week. And yes, that's the sound of my laughter at the end of the video.

  1. Hey stopping by from the GFC blog hop! I am always afraid to ever take my son's naps for granted. It seems like he'll have a good day and then he's a demon.
