MaxExtract60 Carpet Cleaner by Hoover Review

Max Extract® 60 Pressure Pro™ Carpet Deep Cleaner

Once upon a time many years ago, a newlywed couple bought a new couch. It was made from micro-fiber and the couple loved that couch. Then like the nursery rhyme says first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage-they had a baby-and then twins. And this couple discovered that micro-fiber couches are a terrible choice when you have kids.

Water spots

drool marks

and dirty fingers prints everywhere!

I got the opportunity to review the MaxExtract60 Carpet Cleaner from Hoover and I leaped at the chance. I wanted this carpet cleaner because it also cleans upholstery. I knew my couch needed some help and I'm not going to lie, those pictures are a tad on the embarrassing side.

So the first thing I did after opening the box and assembling the carpet cleaner was tackle the couch. The cleaner took only a few minutes to assemble and the directions were very easy to follow. I went to work on the couch and I was able to clean my whole sectional in about 30 minutes. I discovered that it was easier to spray the cushion down and then clean it with the attachment. I added more cleaner as needed. I like this method since it didn't soak my couch too much. After 30 minutes or so, I set the cushions upright to dry. Now it's pretty hot and dry here in Vegas so I don't know how long it will take your couch to dry, but mine was dry in 2 hours! That was my second favorite aspect of the MaxExtract60 Carpet Cleaner.

Seriously how much of

an improvement is this?

It almost looks new again!

My favorite aspect was how little cleaner the machine used to clean my carpet and couch. I have borrowed my in-laws carpet cleaner in the past and it used twice as much cleaner than the MaxExtract60 Carpet Cleaner! That will not only save me money, but it also put fewer chemicals into my home which is very important to me.

After I cleaned the couch, I turned to the bedrooms. My twins are potty training right now and there have been many accidents lately. I cannot believe how quickly the MaxExtract60 Carpet Cleaner cleaned the bedrooms. It took me about 5-10 minutes per room to clean the carpets! So in less than an hour, I was able to clean all my carpet and the couch, that's a win in my book. And when I dumped out the water, I was disgusted! I should have taken a picture of that nasty brown water, but I didn't think of it at the time. I'm so happy all of that dirt and pee is now out of my couch and carpet!

I was very impressed with the MaxExtract60 Carpet Cleaner! I didn't think that my couch could ever look that clean again. You can find more information on Hoover's website and purchase one directly through them.
