Pudding Therapy - Only in My House

One of Mark major goals with occupational therapy is self feeding. It has been his goal for over a year and progress is slow and steady. One his favorite foods to work on OT with is chocolate pudding. And I happen to think it's hilarious since he gets beyond messy.

I took a video for his therapist since Mark never seems to want to cooperate during his sessions. I have to say that this video is one of the reasons I want to buzz his hair-chocolate everywhere. And my girls playing in the background cracks me up.

Today I decided to finish off the pudding with a little finger painting/letter writing lesson. I'm amazed at how many times my daughter will practice writing her letters when she gets to use a chopstick and pudding. If you're looking for a fun activity to do with your kids, pudding finger painting is the way to go. It is messy, but it kept them quiet and happy for 30 minutes. That's a win in my book!

  1. Who doesn't love playing with pudding?! Best. Therapy. Ever. =)

  2. It realy is the little things in life with my kids. We had to take a bath after the finger painting since my son put his finger through his hair.
