Halloween Costume Ideas for Triplets

Halloween is such a fun time of year for me. I love cooking weird food for my kids like eye ball casserole. Which is baked ziti with mozzarella cheese cut into circles with a sliced olive on top of it just in case you were wondering. And I like watching the kids attempt to pull all the pumpkin seeds out of the pumpkins and seeing their faces when we light it up. But my favorite part of Halloween is seeing my kids all dressed up in their costumes. And while my kids are not triplets, I dressed them up in themes that are perfect for triplets.

This year my kids went as Toy Story characters. Mark and Molly went as Woody and Jessie and Isabella went as Buzz Lightyear. Now if your kid is going to go as Buzz Lightyear, you really need to bust out the black eyeliner and make Buzz's beard. It's a great touch!

Photo: They are pumped for their first Halloween party of the night.

Last year they went as Thing 1, Thing 2, and The Cat in the Hat. Dyeing hair on a 1 year old is no easy task. And to get the hair to stick up, I turned the kids upside down and then sprayed it. I learned this was much easier after trying to do their hair for a Halloween party a week before.

Much better hair when you turn them upside down huh?
I'm hoping that I'll have many years ahead of my kids will letting me pick a theme for their costumes. And I'm crossing my fingers that Mark will not think that trick or treating is too scary this year. Last year his sisters took his pail to the door while he screamed on the sidewalk for 4 houses before I called it a night for him. We shall see.....

What are your kids wearing this year on Halloween?

  1. I love the matching theme costumes! My kids have only done that one year :(
This year they are going to be a pilot, a puppy, and a fairy princess.
