I headed to the store alone since I wanted to truly enjoy the experience and I didn't think the kids would find it as exciting as I would. What a fantastic choice I made in leaving them at home since as it turns out, shopping for a mattress is kinda like resting while you talk to a stranger.
The first thing that they did was measure my pressure points so I could find my perfect sleep number. I like my mattress a little on the soft side and my number was 45. I have a feeling that Brett would have a MUCH higher number. I love the idea of us each getting the bed we want and neither of us making a compromise. After all, we are talking about a good night's sleep and that is very important.
Once I had my sleep number it was time to test out the different models. Now the really hard work had to begin. For you my loyal readers, I layed on numerous beds just to make sure I picked the best one. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it right?
I loved the Sleep Number i8 bed! It was so soft and it has the added benefit of temperature cooling technology. I get so hot when I sleep and it wakes me up sometimes. I like that this mattress absorbs the temperature so you don't get too hot or cold. Some of the benefits of a Sleep Number bed are less back pain, a better night's sleep, and individualized comfort.
I had a great time finding my sleep number and testing out the mattresses. It was a very relaxing and comfortable way to spend the afternoon. You need to check it out for yourself. You can find a Sleep Number store near you on their website. And you can find more info on Twitter and Facebook.
