Can you Write a Caption for This Grumpy Photo?

My son woke up very grumpy this morning. And I couldn't help myself-I just had to take a picture since it cracked me up! Sorry it's a little blurry but he wasn't exactly in the mood to pose for the camera.

And since he's too young to protest to my making fun of him online I shared the picture on Facebook and asked for the best caption. Here are the results of my little contest.
  • No. I did NOT say it was okay to talk to me before breakfast...SILENCE!!!
  • What do you mean there's no coffee?
  • Good morning? Are you kidding me?
  • Obama won?
  • You got me out of bed for this?
  • Back off, I'm grumpy.
The first one is my favorite since it captures my son's personality perfectly. He does not like to be talked to until he eats breakfast. To be fair that one came from a friend who knows Mark so she did have an unfair advantage.

I'm pretty sure this picture and the captions are going to end up in his baby book. One day. Maybe. Oh who am I kidding? My plans for the kids baby books and the actual baby books are two very different things.

    1. Hahaha! The best part of this caption - we were out of Cheerios! I have some Kix though so not all was lost.

  2. That is what I look like when I am thinking, "Can't people just be quiet until 10am... then I'll wake up" The funny thing is, I'm already at work wishing people would just give me silence until 10. I am not a morning person!

    1. Me neither. I haven't been able to convince my youngest daughter to sleep past 6am though. I try telling her that it's still night time but she doesn't seem to care.

  4. I'm so lousy at coming up with captions! But as a coffee lover, my favorite is the second one. I'm sure I make a face pretty close to that when I realize there is no coffee. lol

    1. Me too. My husband broke my coffee pot in December and in the morning I was beyond grumpy without my coffee.
