Preschool Confessions

I confess....I dropped off three nice, happy, well behaved children at the gym this morning. I picked up three crabby, tantrum throwing children. I told the childcare worker at the front that they broke my kids. She does not get sarcasm. Not even a little.

I confess....I was in Isabella's preschool class yesterday and she cracks me up that she starts her day putting on this dress everyday.

I confess....I have two recipes that I have pictures of but I haven't gotten around to posting them yet. I'm being a lazy blogger this week. I decided that it was OK.

I confess....Molly has started waking up between 3:30 and 4:30 am every.single.morning! I'm going crazy over here and I've decided to buy her a clock and pray that she can teach herself to sleep until a decent hour.

I confess....I took the girls to the park on Wednesday since the weather was beautiful! They spent some time running around the park and playing on the playground. But the "cleaning up" of the park was clearly the most fun!

Why play on the playground when you can gather pine cones?

I confess....I got the calendar for February from Mark's school and I saw that there is a staff development day on the Tuesday after President's Day. Since he doesn't have school on Friday this means a 5 day weekend. I'm not going to lie, it made me weep a little.

I confess....I joined a diet bet where you can win money. To reach my goal and win a share of the pot I have to lose 5.8 pounds in February. So far I'm down almost 4 pounds. And I found an upside to Norovirus.

I confess....I'm watching The Big Bang Theory and now I want Chinese food. This happens to me more times than I can count.

I confess....I let Isabella dress herself. I'm pretty sure that is obvious to everyone who saw her this week. And all the ones before that, but here are some of her outfits from this week.

That kid makes me smile. She really does march to the beat of her own drum. But I wonder why people ask me when I'm going to stop letting her dress herself. One day I'm going to snap and ask why it bothers them. No really, why? Are you really that insecure that you worry about how my kids dress? If I don't care, why do you? As you can see, this annoys me. Personally, I think she looks pretty cute. And besides, before I know it she'll be influenced by her friends and media so I'm going to enjoy this phase while it lasts.

So what are you confessing this week?

    1. On Saturday we kept all the kids up during the day and now her clock has been reset. She's still waking up around 6 but before she was getting up several times before 6 so this is an improvement!
