Mc Donald's Birthday Party Confessions

I confess....My daughter asked to have her birthday party at McDonald's this year and we were a little unsure. We've had her party outside the house twice and at home twice and I tend to prefer the home parties since the kids and adults can socialize more.

I confess....We had the party at McDonald's since neither of us had the heart to say no to her and it just sounded too easy to pass up. No clean up? No cooking? Yep, I was sold.

I confess....It was one of the easiest parties I've ever given! We just had to show up and they did all the work. I did make a cake for Isabella even though McDonald's provided one. I always let the kids pick a theme for their parties and she requested a rainbow cake.

I confess....Not only was it an easy party, it was CHEAP! We had 15 kids and 16 adults and we paid a grand total of $100! Granted not all of the adults ate but still, that is a fantastic price.

I confess....I was a little worried that it would be crazy in there, but they closed the play area for us. They let the kids come in and play, but the adults had to stay in the lobby area. It was perfect and Isabella told me it was the best party ever! I decided not to take offense over this party being better than her Toy Story party that I spent hours creating. I actually love putting together parties and I have fun doing it.

I confess....Isabella asked for some light up shoes and my brother and his girlfriend bought her a pair. They are very bright and they light up red and blue. It looks like police lights going off when she is in the backseat at night.

I confess....I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend at home after a crazy week. Since last Thursday we have had family in town so that makes life a little busy and to top it off, I got sick again. I'm not sure how that is possible but it's true. I'm finally on antibiotics so I hope that will finally kick me into a healthy place.

What are you confessing this week?
