Confessions on Feeling Like a Grown Up

I confess....Sometimes I do not feel like a grown up.

I confess.....Like when I go to other people's homes and it looks put together and like actual grown ups live there. They have lamps, paintings, and decorations that didn't come from the clearance rack of some big box store. Or the swap meet.

I confess....Yesterday I had a poo-riffic day. I'll spare you the details but one twin after the other had very messy #2 accidents. (These are the days I actually miss diapers)

I confess....I had to get Molly cleaned up which left freshly bathed (yep it was that bad) and naked Mark to roam the house. And man that little guy loves to be naked! He started running around having a great time.

I confess....Isabella asked to go play outside and I said yes but don't leave the front porch until I get there. At this point as long as I can get there in 1-2 minutes they will comply with my requests.

I confess....I came out and there was my son wearing nothing but a bike helmet. Yep, I totally forgot about my naked kid. I'm pretty sure real grown ups don't forget that their kid is running around the house naked.

I confess....I shudder to think about what the neighbors must think of me. And I'm only sad that I didn't think to take a picture. He looked so cute jumping around with a bike helmet on in his birthday suit.

I confess....My son started school on Tuesday. I asked my 5 year old to take our picture. This is what happens when a 5 year old takes your picture.

I confess....I think she nailed it! My eyes have never looked better!

I confess....I want to know why on a school day I'm dragging my kids out of bed at 7:20 only to have the little stinkers wake up on today a non-school day at 6:00am. Never mind, I don't need to know why, I need to know how to make it stop.

Who knows how to make it stop?

So what are you confessing this week?
