Pasta for Your Next Fundraiser

Back to school time means new school supplies, teachers, friends, and of course a new season of fundraising. If you're like me, you have children in multiple schools, multiple clubs, and are in two organizations yourself that has fundraisers throughout the year. It gets a little exhausting doesn't it? I don't know about you but I'm sick and tired of the cookie dough that doesn't taste good and the wrapping paper I never use! If I have to buy something, I would like to buy something I already use and need.

This is why I agreed to review pasta from Fun Pasta Fundraising, I received product samples to facilitate my review. My family eats pasta for dinner at least once a week. Finally, a fundraiser that my kids' school or organizations can do that I would actually buy. The price points are reasonable for families ranging between $5.50 and $30.

As you can see, I was sent a great selection of pasta. Some of the pastas are simply fun shapes which we all know kids love. But there are some that you use to make a specific meal. Last weekend we made the NC State pasta salad for the game and it was really good. I love that the pasta comes with different recipes to choose from so you can make something that you know your family will eat. I choose the Pasta and Broccoli salad version. The pasta came with a flavor package, all I had to do was add in a few ingredients and a meal came together in just 15 minutes. There are 60 college pastas for you to choose from on their site.

Occasionally we make dinner for the kids and then eat something else. It was one of those nights that I made the kids the Down on the Farm Mac'n Cheese. It's the same macaroni and cheese flavor that almost all kids love with cute animal shaped pasta. What kid wouldn't like that? My kids gobbled up the whole 12oz bag in one sitting. They did allow mom and dad to try a bite and it was good. Seriously, who doesn't like mac'n cheese?

About the Fundraising

There are two ways your organization can raise money with Fun Pasta Fundraising. They have catalogs that you can order from which is perfect for taking to your friends and neighbors. There is also a online catalog that allows out of town family to order. The ability to order online is huge for my family since we are spread out all over the country. That's one of my biggest problems trying to sell things for my kids' fundraisers, we don't have family in town to help us out. Your organization can do both options to increase your total sales potential.

I'm sure you're wondering how much money your organization will receive. For groups that raise $3,999 and below you get 40% of the total sales. If you raise $4,000+ you receive 50% of the sales. Personally I think this is a great rate! I spent a year in charge of fundraising for my mother of multiples club and no one ever offered us more than 20% of the sales.

To request more information, there is a form directly on Fun Pasta Fundraising's website. You can also see the different products and see exactly how the program works.
