Breakfast Made Easy with belVita and Dannon

I have partnered with belVita and Dannon to help promote the belVita and Dannon partnership. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program, which includes writing about the promotion and product. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.

I don't know about you but my mornings are very hectic. My husband has to be at work by 7 so he is not around to help me get the kids ready and out the door. Add in the fact that my kids have to walk out the door to catch the bus at 7:40 and you can begin to understand why my mornings are hectic. While my kids eat breakfast I'm usually putting together lunches or doing my girls' hair making it impossible for me to sit down and eat breakfast. I need something that I can eat on the go. My go to breakfast are green smoothies made with Greek yogurt or a breakfast bar.

Thanks to the new partnership of Crunchy belVita Breakfast Biscuits and Dannon® Oikos®* Greek Nonfat Yogurt, a quick and convenient breakfast addition can now be delicious too. With 12 grams of protein from Dannon Oikos** and the nutritious steady energy from belVita, this delicious pairing helps me get more out of morning. The first day I had this combination for breakfast I was able to give my all during my workout and still make it to lunch without getting hungry.

I know it's so easy to skip breakfast. There are so many times when I'm busy and I need to get out the door and I forget all about breakfast. Which is why it's handy to have something to grab and eat once you get to work or in the car. I know that my day goes much smoother and I have more energy and less headaches when I eat a balanced breakfast in the morning.

All of us could use some tips to have smoother mornings. Laura Stack, The Productivity Pro, has joined the initiative to provide tips on how you can get the most out of your morning:

  • The secret to a smooth, sane morning is doing as much as you can the night before. Leave as little preparation as possible until the last minute – you'll thank yourself in the morning.
  • Spend twenty minutes at the end of each day planning your to-do list. When you download the next day’s activities beforehand, you can devote your morning to enjoyment rather than stress.
  • Be sure to start your morning with a delicious, balanced breakfast. Together, the nutritious steady energy of belVita and 12 grams of protein in Dannon Oikos Greek nonfat yogurt** along with a piece of fruit will help you get more out of your morning.

I love Greek Yogurt! With the extra protein and less sugar it is the perfect snack for my kids and a great addition to a green smoothie. I really liked the combination of my smoothie made with the Dannon® Oikos® Greek Nonfat Yogurt and the Crunchy belVita Breakfast Biscuit. It was almost like eating a blueberry cookie with a milkshake. Not quite the same but it was delicious! The yogurt is excellent on it's own too. It's very creamy and the blueberry flavor is wonderful. I started eating one last week and lost most of it to my oldest daughter who enjoyed dipping her biscuit into the yogurt. I tried to be mad at her but she was just too cute eating my breakfast.

A little tip when you're at the store looking for the breakfast biscuits. I had a hard time locating them at the grocery store since they are located in the cookie aisle. I went to three stores looking for them before it occurred to me to look in the cookie section. Don't you just hate it when you know you've seen what you're looking for but you cannot find it? I knew I had seen the belVita box before in my usual store and I asked for help and they couldn't find it either. I hope that saves you some time and frustration at the store.

Visit the belVita website and the Dannon Oikos website to find out more information and where you can find these delicious breakfast foods. Also, follow both on their social media pages to stay up to date with promotions, products, and recipe ideas.

  3. Love belVita. They so yummy. I have to stop myself from going overboard and eating a whole box in one setting. Can you tell portion control is my weakness?

    1. It's far more filling than a snack! I ate a yogurt and the biscuits before taking Body Attack and they fueled me through my workout.

  6. I love the greek yogurt and most of the yogurts. I guess the greek has more protein in it which makes it better. Haven't heard or tried the crackers but sounds like a great snack.
